Moreover, the switch offers very low latency—around 550 nanoseconds—and robust forwarding capacity, so traffic flows smoothly even under heavy loads. Its “AFI” model uses back-to-front airflow, includes redundant power supplies, and is designed for environments where cooling direction matters. Because it runs on Junos OS, it supports automated deployment, routing/gateway features, and comfortable manageability in enterprise settings.
