NEW | The Cisco QSFP-100G-SR4-S is a high-speed optical transceiver designed for short-reach links in data centers, rack-to-rack connections, or campus network uplinks. It supports 100 Gigabit Ethernet over multimode fiber (MMF), reaching up to about 100 meters when using OM4 fiber and about 70 meters with OM3. Moreover, the transceiver runs at 850 nm wavelength and uses an MPO/MTP-12 connector for easy cable management. Because it draws around 3.5 W, it stays efficient in densely packed switch modules.
